Sometimes we can look in the mirror and feel a bit, “bleurgh”. This can be because our skill looks dull or spotty, and just not up to our usual standard in general. Everybody wants smooth, radiant skin, but it can be a challenge to achieve depending on the current state of it and things that factor in, such as age. The term rejuvenate, actually means to make our skin look uplifted, restored and more youthful. There are plenty of lotions and potions out there to purchase, but what can actually help to rejuvenate our skin?

Drink Water

We know that we’re supposed to drink water for our health but the truth is it makes us look better too. We need around 2 litres of water a day to keep our bodies healthy, flush out toxins, feel energised and keep our skin looking radiant and youthful. Carbonated water, flavoured water and anything else that isn’t just pure water is out of bounds! Anything from 1.5 to 2.5 litres is ideal, any more than that and you could actually be damaging your body due to making your kidneys work too hard. Carry a 2 litre bottle with you everywhere you go and remember to drink from it often.

Healthy Foods

The healthier, more organic and more natural foods we eat will all help our skin to look miles better. If all you eat is rubbish, then I’m sorry to say…you’re going to look like rubbish. Good food helps us to look and feel great!

Exercise

Any form of exercise such as walking, running, biking, swimming, weight lifting etc is good for our bodies inside and outside. Exercise releases hormones called endorphins which make us feel happier and give us a natural more radiant glow. Pick an exercise you like to do and you’ll look and feel great!

Makeup

Some people have naturally oily, spotty, dry or just plain troublesome skin, through no fault of their own. If you suspect that’s the case, then you’ll want to buy makeup made especially for your skin type. There are foundations, concealers, elure brightening products and other makeup products out there that are specially made for different skin types and will work wonders to make our skin look rejuvenated and radiant. For example: If you have dry skin, you don’t want to use oily products as they will dry your skin out even more. If you have oily skin, using dry products could cause your skin to look shiny and give you spots. You need to use specially formulated makeup for your skin type! If unsure, consult somebody who works at the makeup counter. You may even be able to get a makeover with trial sized products!

Use A Moisturiser With An Spf

Moisturisers with added SPF protection help to block harmful pollutants from the environment and stop our skin from being damaged from the suns rays. You can find a variety of products that contain SPF, moisturisers, BB creams, foundations, lip balms and more.
